Hyland House, Chelmsford: Ann, Ed and I visited this Grade II listed stately home today. Months of restoration involving plasterers, textiles people and many others have made this house built in 1730 a beautiful place to visit. The walled kitchen garden was said to have grown pineapples successfully!
