Hobart food tour, part 2

Bruny Island cheese is absolutely divine, especially jack’s dad, a full-bodied, whisky-washed variety. Battered whitebait with a touch of salt and lemon. A scoop of sublime orange caramel ice cream to finish it all off. Nobody could find a critical word – we had all fallen in love with Hobart by then! I secretly plot my return, to take in Bruny Island and to coincide with the food festival, or at least the Saturday market at Salamanca which I had a glimpse of at 8:15am this morning with vendors mostly all set up.
